Congratualtions Uncle!
We recently attended my brother's graduation from the police academy. After seeing a cute policeman uniform in a shop in Florida, we ordered it online so that Josh could wear it to the ceremony. (As a bonus, it's big enough that he should be able to wear it as a Halloween costume next year.) He was very adorable and garnered all sort of little "ahhs" and "look at that baby" as we walked around.
This picture is kind of blurry, but its the only one that shows all his little accessories like badge, handcuffs, whistle and nightstick. It also came with a hat and aviator sunglasses, but Josh wouldn't wear them.
Josh LOVED all the clapping. There were many speeches (short, thankfully) and then clapping after each graduate was named. He shrieked and clapped for everyone.
Josh was fussed over by just about everyone, including a state trooper who let Josh wear his hat. According to my father (pictured above) troopers never let people take their hats.
I love this picture, because it is almost impossible to get my dad and my brother to smile in a posed picture. To get all three of them smiling at once is very special.
The portrait in the middle is of my late grandfather, who was also in law enforcement, that hangs in the board room of the academy. Congrats little brother, you will do a great job!

That's pretty cool. Congrats to your brother. And, how proud your dad must be.
