Trippin' with a Baby Part II

San Francisco, here we come!

Typical summer day in San Fran. Luckily the weather cleared up and we had sunshine for the rest of the trip, but it was still cool.

Josh got to experience all sorts of new things... lurking under the GG Bridge, eating sourdough turtles and ringing the cable car bell in honor of his very first cable car ride from the conductor!

We didn't visit Alcatraz (I'd been there already) but we enjoyed watching all the boats.

The view from Coit tower was pretty good. (that's Lombard Street in the background)

We visited a small shop in a back alley of Chinatown that made fortune cookies by hand. They gave us fresh hot samples that were very good.

It was a great trip. Traveling with a baby was different and we couldn't do all the things we would have done if it were just the two of us, (like rent those little motorized car/scooter rides) but it also opened up a lot of doors. Babies speak a universal language of cuteness, so people would start talking to him in many different languages. We rode a bus through the Chinatown area with a bunch of locals and they were all talking to him and laughing when he would do his happy little shrieks. What was Josh's favorite part of the trip? The mirror in the hotel room.

I LOVE Josh's face in the pic of him on Daddy's shoulders. Looking out at the world below. :D What a great shot of the bridge in the fog, too. Sounds like so much fun. I still have to do SanFran. Can't believe I've managed to miss going there.
