We decided to take advantage of the quickly-diminishing nice weather and made a run to the park last week. It always amazes me how much better my boys behave when they can spend time outside.
I have so many pictures of Josh as a toddler all bent over like this, inspecting tiny pieces of debris on the ground. Ben lounged with his foot up in the air, sucking down a bottle. Life is good.
Then Ben decided that he must be getting short changed sitting in the stroller while brother played. Even with multiple toys he was not entertained. Funny though, taking him out of the stroller really didn't improve his mood.
On the way home, we made a glorious discovery of a fuzzy caterpillar. It had to be studied, held gently and photographed for quite some time. When it was time to go, Josh threw a huge temper tantrum was a bit distraught at leaving his little friend.
Josh took that picture of his hand himself. He can use the iphone almost as well as I can.
Not sure if that should be a compliment or not.
Our festive neighbors already have Halloween decor out. Josh literally stared at their door for two minutes, then he turned around to me and said "Oh NO, a monster!"
